And in other news, I’m attending the ENK Children’s show to show our spring/summer 2012 “The Dream Collection.”  I love being in New York, even if it’s just for the weekend.  The city’s energy is contagious, which is great since I will need all of the energy I can get!  Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

What a week!  I just got back from the ENK show in New York that I told you about last week.  It was such a huge success – I met so many great people in the industry and really enjoyed talking to everyone and showing our Spring/Summer 2012 DREAM line.  It’s always exciting to get feedback on things that you’ve been working so hard on, so I was thrilled with all of the positive reactions to our latest collection. 

You can see a sneak peek here in this picture I snapped with my mom in front of the S/S2012 display.  Aren’t the colors great?! I really love pastels, but I didn’t want it to look dull or washed out, and I think we found the perfect balance – soft but still bright.  The colors that make up the S/S2012 DREAM collection are: creativity, wisdom, energy, aspiration, passion, and purity.

My schedule has been so packed lately, but I’m very excited to take off today for NYC.  Even though it’s a business trip, it’s always nice to get out and go somewhere.  I love being in a different city and experiencing the atmosphere, restaurants, and people—oh, and I’m of course hoping that there will be time for a little shopping! 

See, I’m already getting off track. The real purpose of my trip is to attend the ENK Show to showcase the PaigeLauren baby Spring/Summer 2012 line.  I know! You guys haven’t even seen the Fall/Winter 2011 line, but so goes the industry of fashion.  We have to work hard and plan way ahead to make sure we’re bringing the best of the best to your fashion-forward kiddies! And don’t worry, the Fall/Winter collection will be available SOON!

Anyways, this is the first time I’ll be showcasing the S/S 2012 line, and I’m beyond excited to show people what I’ve been working on and get some feedback.  The ENK Show brings retailers and designers from all over the U.S. to show off their new collections to buyers.  The PLb team will have a booth at the “Children’s Club” to show off our latest in baby fashion! 

Hopefully I’ll get some sleep on the plane, I’m going to need all of my energy to combat the time change and be on point to set up our PLb booth.  I’ll be relying on my grande, extra shot latte to keep me going through the day of meet and greets and all things PLb. Can’t wait!!  I’ll let you know how it goes. 

Is anyone going to be at the ENK show? We’ll be at booth 3120 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 9am-6pm. I guess I was a bit unrealistic about finding time to shop.  Oh well, next time!
